The Center for Ecoliteracy launches Understanding Food and Climate Change at the 2018 Interactive Dialogue on Harmony with Nature at the United Nations.

Harmony with Nature at the United Nations

The Center for Ecoliteracy is honored to have participated in the Eighth Annual Interactive Dialogue on Harmony with Nature at the United Nations, in New York on April 23, 2018, to commemorate International Mother Earth Day.

In the video above, Karen Brown, creative director for the Center, gives a presentation that contextualizes the Center's work in education for sustainable living over more than 20 years of programming. Her presentation culminates in the announcement of the launch of Understanding Food and Climate Change, a new suite of free, digital resources developed by the Center that explores the links between climate change and the food we grow, eat, and throw away.

Karen shows us how Understanding Food and Climate Change uses interactive experiences and striking imagery to help educators, students, and advocates learn how food and climate interact, and how personal choices can make a difference.
